WELCOME TO

530 HAVOC !

The cadets of 530 Royal Canadian Air Cadet Squadron participate in a variety of fun and challenging activities that promote physical fitness, leadership, confidence and friendship.

We are a 100% FREE program for youth ages 12-18! We are the largest federally funded youth program in Canada, and Canada's best kept secret!

Every cadet will have the opportunity to go flying, every training year, with some top Seniors earning their Glider and Power Pilot wings, without paying a dime! One in five private pilots in Canada were ex-Air Cadets and 67% of commercial and airline pilots began as Air Cadets.

Throughout the training year, our cadets are active in the community! Volunteering, sports, camping, flying, competitions, joint unit exercises, trips and PAID summer camp! That's right- you get PAID to go

We have many extra-curricular teams that accentuate the Cadet program taught by qualified instructors, free of charge. These include Marksmanship, Military Band, Aviation, Ground School, Search and Rescue Team, Biathlon and Effective Speaking & Debate.
